BLACKFOOT — Police captured two murder suspects in Bingham County on Thursday evening.

Daniel King, 26, and Analilia Acosta, 36, are currently incarcerated at the Bingham County Jail.

According to the Stockton Police Department, King, Acosta and Lynn Ricketts, 52, are suspects in the Nov. 1 shooting death of a 50-year-old man in Stockton, California.

After receiving a tip that the three suspects were in Idaho, police arrested King and Acosta on Thursday at approximately 8 p.m. on Interstate 15 near Blackfoot, authorities said.

According to Brian Underwood, U.S. Marshal for Idaho, the arrest on I-15 was the result of a joint law enforcement effort between the U.S. Marshals, the Bingham County Sheriff’s Office, the Idaho State Police, the Pocatello Police Department, the Fort Hall Police Department and the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office.

Stockton police said Ricketts was arrested outside Boise, also on Thursday. She is currently incarcerated at the Ada County Jail.

According to the Stockton Police Department, all three suspects are awaiting extradition to California to face homicide charges.

King, Acosta and Ricketts were wanted in connection to the Nov. 1 murder of Henry Dunlap, who was found with at least one gunshot wound in the parking lot of a Chevron Food Mart in Stockton, according to California media reports.

Police said Dunlap later died from his injuries.

Stockton police soon issued warrants for the arrest of the three suspects. A citizen provided a tip to police in California that the three suspects were in Idaho, which led to Thursday’s arrests.

This is the second time within the past two weeks that local law enforcement captured a murder suspect from out of state.

On Nov. 1, 25-year-old Chay Blair was arrested after leading police in Power County on a chase through American Falls. Blair was caught after officers deployed spike strips that deflated the tires on his vehicle.

Blair has been charged in a murder that had been reported in Utah a few hours before the police pursuit in Power County. According to the Box Elder County Sheriff’s Office, Blair is accused of killing 27-year-old Cody D. Henderson in the garage of a residence in the northern Utah town of Willard.
