Firth’s Adams steps down as basketball coach

By Michael Guise,

Scott Adams stepped down as Firth’s head basketball coach Wednesday after 13 years at the program’s helm. The news was first reported by and confirmed by the Post Register.

Adams took over the Cougars’ program in 2004, and the 2005-06 season was the lone time Firth did not appear at state.

Firth finished the 2016-17 season 18-11. The team has eight losses in 78 games from the start of the 2013 season to the end of the 2016 campaign.
