BLACKFOOT — Snake River High School will celebrate two state championships during a special assembly today, March 5.

The event will take place at 1:55 p.m. at the high school, located at 922 W. Highway 39 in Blackfoot.

The assembly will honor the girls’ basketball team — which defeated Filer 51-34 for the 3A state girls’ basketball title last month — and the boys’ basketball team, which won a state championship of its own on Saturday. The team beat Shelley 67-65.

The assembly will take place at 1:55 p.m. on Tuesday at the high school, located at 922 W. Highway 39 in Blackfoot.
